Some things are meant to be done in person by professionals. Accurate measurements, prescriptions, product advice, and fixing a pair that isn't working really need a trained optician.
Let's face it... Some things are just meant to be done in-person by (human) professionals. Your supervisors, safety managers, or AI agents aren't properly trained to take accurate optical measurements, enter prescriptions, recommend the right vision products to help you see clearly, and especially not to troubleshoot a pair of glasses that isn't working out.
Absolutely, we specialize in B2B programs, but we're also experts in personal vision protection for everyday life, hobbies, and sports!
We run the rollout with you in three stages: discover, design, and delivery. See the How It Works page for the full breakdown.
Yes. Service tiers and end user packages scale to your team's size, locations, and needs, with add-ons for specialized environments such as laser, goggles, and respirator inserts.
We support programs across many workforces and industries. Service tiers range from a basic program to a full-service program with a dedicated program manager and monthly reporting.
Contact our sales team with your team size, locations, and goals, and we'll help match the right service tier and end user package.
We run prescription safety eyewear programs for employers. Licensed opticians fit employees on site, handle frames and lenses that meet ANSI Z87.1, and provide ongoing support so the program keeps working long after delivery.
Employees are guided in person by a licensed optician instead of sorting through options alone, and the same team supports the program long after the first order.
You complete a questionnaire first, covering the hazards and eyewear requirements for each role, prescription and coverage needs, and the details for each of your sites. We go through your answers together on the call and fill in the rest.
In three stages. Discover maps your hazards, teams, locations, and service tier. Design sets the allowance, approved package, approval workflow, and program materials. Delivery confirms visit dates, site logistics, and how glasses reach your employees.
During the approval workflow phase we agree on who approves exceptions, upgrades, and eligibility, and who owns billing, site logistics, and employee communication. We also confirm delivery contacts for each location before launch.
Yes. Site details are mapped during discovery, and each location gets its own visit dates, fitting windows, and staffing. Additional site visits can be added when launches expand or new locations come online.
Restrictions by role, site, hazard, or policy are set during benefit design, alongside the approved frame and lens package. Specialized environments can add laser protection, goggles, or respirator inserts.
You choose the delivery model during the final stage: by visit, pickup, or shipping, whichever fits your sites. We confirm delivery contacts and employee notifications first, then handle adjustments, remakes, and repairs from there.
The service tier sets what we do for your program: on-site cadence, program tools, approval workflow, and reporting. The end user package sets what your employees can choose: frame brands, lens materials and designs, coatings, and specialty lenses.
It depends on your team size, locations, service tier, and the end user package you pick, so we quote each program individually. Contact our sales team with those details and we'll walk you through the options.
Online registration and scheduling, digital program resources, in-office fitting options, and post-delivery support. Every program also carries a 60-day RightPair guarantee, a one-year frame warranty, free adjustments and cleanings, and a 15% discount on personal prescription eyewear.
Access and Premier both include one, a hub where your employees register, check on-site visit dates, and get help. Premier adds a dedicated program manager and monthly program reports on top.
The allowance amount and out-of-pocket rules are agreed with you during benefit design, along with the approved frame and lens package and any restrictions by role, site, or hazard.
Add-ons cover specialized environments: laser safety configured to block specific hazardous wavelengths, D3 and D4 goggles for splash or dust protection, respirator inserts, and additional site visits.
We run registration and scheduling, on-site or in-office fittings with licensed opticians, lab production and quality checks, dispensing, and ongoing support like adjustments, repairs, and remakes, so your team isn't juggling vendors. A dedicated program manager comes with our highest service tier; every program still has a clear support path to our team.
Employees register through your program's online form, then book a fitting appointment for an upcoming on-site visit at their location. If on-site scheduling isn't available, they can request an office fitting instead.
Send billing or account-change questions through our Contact page and we'll route them to the right person.
Yes. Programs are built around your team's size, locations, and needs, and the service tier or end user package can be adjusted as your program grows. Talk to your program contact about the options.
Additional site visits can be scaled as launches expand or new locations come online. Reach out through your manager resources and we'll coordinate scheduling.
Every program includes post-delivery support: free adjustments and cleanings, a one-year frame warranty, a 60-day RightPair guarantee, and help with repairs, remakes, and fit issues.
Register through your program's online form, then book a fitting appointment for an upcoming on-site visit at your location. If on-site scheduling isn't available where you are, you can request an office fitting.
A licensed optician meets you on site, helps you choose frames that fit your face and your job, captures your prescription, and walks you through lens options for your work conditions.
Yes. On-Sight frames and lenses meet the ANSI Z87.1 safety standard and include permanent or integrated side shields where required.
Come back to us. Your program includes free adjustments and cleanings, a one-year frame warranty, a 60-day RightPair guarantee, and support for repairs and remakes.
Request an office fitting and our team will help route you, or contact On-Sight support and we'll find the next available option.
Your allowance, eligibility cycle, and covered frame and lens options depend on your employer's program. The employee program guide and your registration confirmation cover the specifics for your plan.
Our team follows up as soon as we can. Adding your order number and a photo of the issue helps us solve it faster.
Tell us your name, your company or program, and what's going on. If it's about an existing order, add your order number and a photo so we can pinpoint the fix.
Your program includes free adjustments and cleanings. Submit a help request and we'll arrange an adjustment, a repair, or a remake if it's needed.
Safety frames carry a one-year frame warranty, and the 60-day RightPair guarantee covers an approved lens, frame, or prescription change. Send us the details and we'll sort out the fix.
Some On-Sight frames have removable side shields. Send us a request and we'll walk you through your specific pair.
The Z87 or Z87+ stamp shows the eyewear meets the ANSI Z87.1 safety standard, and other monograms identify the manufacturer and lens type. The Safety Glasses Markings guide breaks these down.
The showroom is at 6780 Miramar Rd Ste 106, San Diego, CA 92121, on Miramar Rd just south of Mira Mesa, and there's parking on site.
Yes. We specialize in company programs, but the Miramar showroom is open to anyone. Walk in or book a time, and an optician will go through frames, measurements, and what your prescription and your work need. We also handle adjustments, cleanings, and repairs, and we make regular prescription glasses as well as safety pairs.
Yes. On-site fittings are the core of what we do: a licensed optician comes to your facility, takes measurements, and fits employees at work, so nobody has to leave for an appointment. San Diego on-site visits can be booked directly.
No. Walk in Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm PT. We close for lunch from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. Come in to try frames, get measured, order glasses, or have a pair repaired. Book online to hold a time.
Yes. HSA and FSA cards work at the Miramar showroom for prescription glasses, including prescription safety glasses and prescription sunglasses. We don't bill vision insurance.
No. We're a licensed optical shop. Bring a current prescription signed by your doctor and we'll fit, cut, and dispense the lenses.
An optician brings frames to your site, checks fit and measurements for each employee, and confirms what their prescription and job call for. Employees try frames on in person rather than guessing from photos, which is what keeps returns and refits down.
Yes. Every safety pair we dispense meets ANSI Z87.1, and the frame carries the Z87+ high impact marking where the frame and lens combination is rated for it. Everyday glasses and sunglasses are not Z87 rated.
Yes. Walk into the Miramar showroom with any pair and an optician will take a look, wherever you bought them and whether or not your employer has a program with us.
Adjustments and refits for frames that have bent or stopped sitting right, nose pad and screw replacement, and new lenses cut for a frame you already own. If a break is past what we can put right in the showroom, we'll say so when we look at it.
Yes, prescription or not. The same jobs as eyeglasses: adjustments and refits, nose pads and screws, and new lenses in a frame you already own.
Adjustments, cleanings, and repairs are free, including nose pads and screws, whether or not you bought the pair from us. New lenses for a frame you already own are a separate job and are quoted before any work starts.
Three kinds. Breaks that need soldering have to go to a specialist. Parts that are no longer made cannot be replaced. Deeply scratched lenses cannot be fixed and need replacement. An optician will tell you which applies when they look at the pair.
Yes. A licensed optician travels to you anywhere in San Diego County, with frames to try on and the tools to take measurements properly. It works the same way at a care home or an office if that's easier for you.
No. Have your prescription with you. It must be current and signed by a doctor. Tell us in your inquiry if it has expired.
It depends on where you are in the county and how many people need fitting, so we work it out with you on the call. You get the cost before anything is scheduled.
Yes, and it's the easiest way to do it. Families, neighbors, and small teams at one address can all be fitted in the same visit. Tell us roughly how many people in the form so we can allow enough time.
No. This is for people with no company behind them. If your employer does run an On-Sight program, your fittings are covered through that instead.
Yes. We can fit ANSI Z87.1 rated prescription safety eyewear at your home the same way we fit everyday glasses. Tell us what you need them for and an optician will bring suitable frames.
Usually, yes. Bring them out at the visit and the optician can look at the fit, replace nose pads and screws, and tell you honestly whether a repair is worth it.
We'll confirm that when we follow up, because it depends on where you are. Either an optician brings them back to you, or you collect them from the Miramar showroom.
The Z87 mark means the eyewear meets the ANSI Z87.1 standard for impact resistance, coverage, and optical clarity. It confirms the glasses were tested and are recognized by OSHA for occupational eye protection.
Z87 is the marking you see stamped on the frame or lens, and ANSI Z87.1 is the standard behind it. When a product carries the Z87 mark, it was tested to the ANSI Z87.1 requirements.
Z87 covers the baseline impact requirements. Z87+ means the eyewear also passed the higher velocity and mass impact tests, which construction, oil and gas, and heavy manufacturing jobs often require.
OSHA requires proper eye protection wherever a hazard is present. If a worker needs a prescription, their safety eyewear has to provide that correction while still meeting ANSI Z87.1, either as prescription safety glasses or as approved protection worn over regular glasses.
Side protection is required when there is a hazard from flying particles. Many safety frames include built-in side shields, and Z87 rated designs are tested for coverage from multiple angles.
Look for a permanent Z87 or Z87+ mark on both the frame and the lens. That mark shows the eyewear meets ANSI Z87.1, the standard OSHA recognizes for occupational eye protection.
For most people who wear glasses every day, yes. It cuts glare from headlights, screens, and overhead lights, so you see sharper detail with less eye strain. You'll notice it most when driving at night, working under bright lights, or spending long hours on a screen.
It uses light interference. Several microscopic layers on the lens each cancel out part of the reflected light, so nearly all visible light passes through the lens to your eyes.
It helps most if you drive at night, work under bright or mixed lighting, or spend long hours at a screen. Those are the settings where reflections off your lenses cause glare, halos around lights, and tired eyes.
No. The coating is clear and doesn't affect your prescription or the power of your lenses. At some angles you may see a faint green or purple tint on the lens surface, which is normal.
Yes. Standard and premium anti-reflective coatings both go on prescription safety lenses. Premium adds water, oil, and dust repellent layers, so the lenses stay cleaner and wipe down more easily.
Spray lens cleaner on both sides and wipe with a clean microfiber cloth. Without cleaner, rinse under lukewarm water, rub gently with a drop of mild, lotion-free soap, rinse again, and dry with microfiber. Keep paper towels, shirts, and cleaners with alcohol, ammonia, or bleach off the lenses, and keep the glasses away from heat.
