I built On-Sight to give companies a more personal safety eyewear service, helping employees get the right fit, the right prescription, and the support they need to work safely.
The Standard We’re Changing
In a lot of workplaces, prescription safety eyewear is an afterthought. Employees who wear glasses get handed over-the-glasses goggles that fog up, slip, and never quite fit. Or they’re sent to a website to pick frames off a screen, guess at their own measurements, and hope the pair that shows up actually works. When it doesn’t, there’s usually no one to call.
What Getting It Right Takes
A licensed optician measures your eyes, fits the frame to your face, gets the prescription correct, and is there to fix it when something’s off.
Why Safety Eyewear Is Different
Every other pair of glasses that matters is made that way. Safety eyewear is the one category where people are expected to sort it out themselves.
What We Do About It
So we send opticians to workplaces, and to homes across San Diego County when someone can’t travel. The fit, the prescription, and the follow-up all sit with one person.
You Don’t Need a Company Program
Most of our work is employer programs, but not all of it. The showroom on Miramar Rd is open to anyone, and if getting out is hard, a licensed optician can come to you anywhere in San Diego County.

Walk in during showroom hours and try frames on. It’s the same fitting either way. Adjustments and repairs on glasses you already own are welcome too.

If you don’t drive any more, or an injury or a long-term condition makes the trip difficult, an optician brings frames to you. Several people at one address can be fitted in the same visit.
How Home Visits WorkWe don’t do eye exams, so a new pair needs a current prescription signed by a doctor.
