On-Sight Safety Optics
Employee Program Guide
Everything you need to know to get your prescription safety glasses through work

At a glance
- Your company provides a set allowance toward prescription safety glasses
- You register and get approved before you can schedule a fitting
- A licensed optician helps you pick frames and lenses that fit your job
- Your glasses are delivered through your company or On-Sight after a few weeks
- Check your company's program page for visit dates, your allowance, and forms
How it works
Your company partners with On-Sight to provide prescription safety glasses that meet ANSI standards. You get a set allowance to use toward approved frames and lenses. If you pick options that cost more than the allowance, you pay the difference at your fitting.
Every order includes safety-rated frames with permanent or built-in side shields, a cleaning cloth, and a protective case. A licensed optician walks you through your choices and makes sure everything fits correctly.
What you need
- A current eyeglass prescription (not expired)
- Confirmation from your supervisor that you are eligible
- A payment method (credit, debit, or FSA/HSA card) in case your selections go over the allowance
How to register
- Go to your company's program page and fill out the registration form.
- Upload your eyeglass prescription in the form, or plan to bring a copy to your fitting.
- Enter your supervisor's email so they can approve your registration.
- Once approved, you can schedule your fitting appointment.
Scheduling your fitting
Most fittings happen on-site at your workplace when On-Sight visits. If your location doesn't have a scheduled visit, you may be able to book an office fitting instead. Use the same email for registration and booking so you get reminders.
- Visit dates and locations are listed on your company's program page.
- Ask your supervisor or check the program page if you are unsure about office fitting options.
What to expect at your fitting
Bring your prescription and a payment card. The optician will help you choose frames from the approved catalog, take your measurements, and go over your lens options. You will find out right away if you owe anything out of pocket.
- The optician makes sure your glasses meet safety standards for your job.
- If you need a specific lens type for medical reasons, let the optician know.
- Office fittings follow the same process as on-site visits.
After your fitting
Your glasses are custom-made after the fitting. This usually takes a few weeks for lens work, quality checks, and shipping.
- Your glasses may be delivered to your workplace, sent to a company contact, or available for pickup.
- Your supervisor or program contact will let you know when your order arrives.
Lens options
Clear safety lenses are included in every order. Tinted lenses, Transitions, and other specialty options may not be available through your program. If you have a medical reason for a specific lens, bring a doctor's note and talk to the optician at your fitting.
Your allowance coverage may be different for single vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. The optician will explain what is covered during your appointment.
If something goes wrong
If there is a problem with your glasses after you receive them, submit a help request through your company's program page as soon as you can. Include your order number, a short description, and photos if possible. Your order also comes with a card that has these instructions.
- Contact On-Sight for issues with your lenses, frames, or the order itself.
- Contact your supervisor for questions about eligibility, your allowance balance, or company policy.
